Taberna Grill

Taberna is a hidden gem in the area when it comes to great authentic Portuguese food! Sunday’s special is the Cozido há Portuguesa! Best I ever had in a Portuguese restaurant. Just like home’s! Also the octopus (polvo) is a must try. Don’t forget if in the area or you live anywhere within 30 miles from it it’s worth the ride! 10 minutes from the Newark international airport!

Low key spot but the food is delicious & extremely reasonably priced. Service was great too. Left a video of the aftermath because I inhaled the food before I could get a pic. The presentation was beautiful tho.

Nice place with attractions like karaoke and beautiful music 80’s. The attendant is very friendly and polite. I highly recommend!

When you come through the front entrance, a bar will greet you! But if you prefer a more cozy and less bar vibe, go to the left upstairs side where is nice and quiet! The staff is nice, food is great and the price was superb!!! My favorite drink was the white sangria 😋

Fresh and high quality food. Prompt service and nice, friendly folks running the place. I enjoyed the chicken that I had a lot. Great place, would come anytime.
