Tabb Library

This was my first time ruining a library book because of the beach season… I had put a wet towel on a library book I had borrowed from the library. I came to apologize and asked for options to replace the book, the lady at the receptionist desk said I needed to replace it or pay $21. I was pretty sure as long as the book was a good copy I didn’t have to worry about it being brand new or not. I found a decent copy with no writing on its pages (see images) and brought it today to compensate for the book, they suddenly mentioned they have a policy and the policy is to bring brand new book! Which I wouldn’t have gone through finding a decent book if that was the policy in the first place. Brand new book was about $16 which is what the library asked for… Anyway, the supervisor then came out

Clean, new books! Cozy atmosphere conducive to reading! Idyllic and current with the times. They have a manga/comic book “cave” (a room dedicated to just graphic novels), a private study/meeting room and a childrens book area. 🥳

Wonderful library. Clean, cool on a hot summer day. Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful children's area. Many individual seating areas in the main section for work or study space.

I really like the York County Tabb Library. The staff is especially friendly and helpful. Tons and tons of books, CDs, and DVDs to choose from... Lots of nooks and crannies to read, write, or research your favorite project. Work tables for group study with outlets for all your electronic devices. They also have lots of computers for your use. Free WiFi access also available.

Pleasant experience. Well connected to obtain books not in stock. Great asset for peer reviewed articles for school. Staff is great.
