Great tasting food! BYO Food: EXCELLENT - I can't tell if these are authentic. But the food was excellent and super tasty. We went mostly with recommendations from the staff and were very happy. Make sure to leave room for dessert. They were great! Service: EXCELLENT Atmosphere: GOOD - Small space so it can feel cramped. But we were comfortable. We would definitely come back!!!
Okay food, but really poor customer service. We had arrived about 20 minutes before our reservation. The hostess would not seat us until our reservation, so they had us wait outside for 15 minutes. Whole time, there was three open tables (two were filled at 7pm) as well as four seats at the bar (they did not get filled until after 7:30). I am not sure why there were open seats and we had to wait outside. As we finally got seated, I noticed how there are were NO Filipino patrons in the restaurant besides myself. There were 4 Asian girls that were seated next to us and I had asked if they were Filipino, they were not. We sat at the counter, and the service was absolutely top-notch. As always, sitting at the counter felt like dinner and a show watching the team work is part of the experience. Now, on to the food: my wife and I opted for the tasting menu, and it did not disappoint. The chicken wings, salad, and lumpia were all outstanding. The skin on the wings was unlike anything I’ve ever had. Next came the mushroom & pea arroz caldo and Filipino spaghetti. The arroz caldo was my least favorite dish of the night, but still very good and interesting. The Filipino spaghetti, on the other hand, was a standout fun, nostalgic, and exciting. Yes, hot dogs in spaghetti can be exciting! The chef surprised us with a small taste of the tofu, which wasn’t on the tasting menu and it turned out to be one of the
We ordered lumpia, garlic rice, pork sisig, clam curry, ube ice cream, and all were amazing!! My personal fav was the clam dish. I also just love the ambience of this restaurant: cozy with low lighting🤌🏻. I really want to come back and try their other dishes!!
We had very tasty Filipino dishes in a cozy, close-quarters atmosphere. Reservations are recommended because it fills up quickly. Would definitely come back for another night of bold Filipino flavors and great conversation.
