Best and most authentic Thai food I’ve had anywhere in the US. Everything was vibrant, perfectly balanced, and presented beautifully. The atmosphere at TAAN is sophisticated but still feels very inviting. A huge thank you to Jaria for the incredible service. She was so welcoming and made the whole evening special. If you’re in Bennington, do yourself a favor and stop by. I’ll definitely be back!
We stopped by here when we were really hungry — and since we both love good food and are quite picky,seeing a 4.9 rating made it impossible not to try! It turned out to be such a pleasant surprise. The Thai flavors are authentic and perfectly balanced, the atmosphere is quiet and elegant,and Jariya is incredibly warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!
this was a wonderful experience!!! They opened specially for us weary travelers on the day of the Super Bowl. The food was delicious and the hospitality was so thoughtful and kind. Separate from our dining experience, the space itself is gorgeous and warm and is tempting for those who like to curl up and read or play chess in dark academia rooms. Can’t speak about this place highly enough, thank you for having us!
I have never had a more magical dining experience. I went for the first time for my birthday and the owner/chef was so incredibly kind. The space is intimate and beautiful; the food is delicious and artfully plated and presented; there was even live music in the form of a highly entertaining piano player. And I have to reemphasize just how delicious the food is. Thanks for a memorable birthday dinner! Can't wait to come back.
TAAN is an absolute gem in the town of Bennington! While hidden in a hotel it stands out on its own. The beautiful porcelain China set tables create a romantic and elegant atmosphere. The food is authentic and flavorful. Chef/owner Jariya Wannaat is a one woman show. She puts her all into every dish. I had the pleasure of meeting her and congratulated her on elevating the options for cuisine that comes from another corner of the world. Highly recommend- don’t be in a rush!
