Taa Daa The Bakery

This place is the BEST!!! I've literally had everything she makes and it's all top tier. I cannot rave enough. Her longjohns are the best in state! The cream in stuff isn't too sweet. The moment you walk in the door you can just smell the quality and love this lady puts into what she does. You may have to give her a moment to help you at the register, but again- top tier quality bakery. I can't wait to get back into Blackstone!

Was visiting the small town of Blackstone in Virginia and beautifully pained turquoise color bakery looked so inviting that I decided to go in. What a treat! A small selection of sweets, but all of it looked so good. It was hard to decide what to buy. I had a strawberry tart and it was perfect: fruity, smooth and not overly sweet. Do not miss to stop by at this jewel owned by a lovely lady that spent at least half an hour chatting with me: telling me about town, museums and restaurants in town. She was a true Blackstone ambassador.

I love bakery's. This weekend was in town with family for an event. My wife found this nice place, and we checked it out. Jan the owner was a joy to talk too, and she worked with us on our cupcake order. There are bakeries but this is the type of warm welcoming place that is not seen in many places, with the small town feel. Thank you.

The owner is so sweet and down to earth and the shops vibe /decor is Mid-Century and the ingredients are just as authentic. I believe the secret ingredient she uses in all her recipes is Love. Everything I’ve brought has been delicious. My favorite two desserts so far are the “Rock Around the Clock” cookies & the Caramel Apple donuts.

She did our daughter’s 3rd birthday cake it was so beautiful and the taste was out of this world! It was so good! We will be using this bakery again!!
