The restaurant has a beautiful interior with warm wooden décor, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a great spot for family gatherings or dining with friends. The menu focuses on authentic Sichuan cuisine with a spicy kick. I highly recommend the Spicy Tofu Fish and the Shanghai Pan-Fried Buns — both were flavorful and satisfying. Service was friendly and the dishes came out quickly. One small suggestion would be to replace some chipped plates, as they slightly affected the overall impression. Overall, a restaurant worth revisiting for its authentic flavors.

I still don't know what to make of this bizarre corner of upscale restaurants in the American Dream Mall. The eateries like Szechuan Opera are gorgeous, fancy, and as sleek 'n' chic as as a gazelle in Gucci--but, like, you're still taking your date to....the mall. Huh? Anyway, after a bunch of us decided to unleash our inner mall rats and terrorize the ground floor riding animatronics meant for kids, we worked up enough of an appetite to stop by here for a Sichuan feast. Perhaps more confusing than the fancy-ness of the restaurant was the fact that it was actually....good. Like, approved by your Canto great-aunt good. We got: - West Lake Beef Soup: As hearty and eggy as nostalgia requires - Camphor Tea Duck: Our weakest dish. Skin was good, meat was dry - Stewed Pork Shoulder: Fall-o

Handled a big group without issues, good service and didn't mind the kids at a different table. Appetizers - Spicy peppers grilled - some very spicy, others not so bad. Cold sesame noodles were good. Kids were good with the scallion pancakes and spring rolls. Xiaolongbao were good, but not as juicy as a Tasty Moment. Sliced potatoes with green pepper was ok, not sour enough. Fish in soupy style was spicy as was the pork blood in chili oil, but perhaps too much MSG as we were all thirsty after the meal. Tofu in sizzling style was more of a sweet & sour tofu - no sizzilng. Lamb with the cumin was good, as was the smoky pork in Szechuan style. Beef stew in a clay pot was good, too. Spicy stuff ended up being not our taste, but the non-spicy dishes were good. Overall, mixed on the food bu

9/13/25 We were in the American Dream and was hungry and wandered out of the food court. The decor drew us in, and Chinese restaurant? We must try. Nice entryway with the zodiac animals. Very cool showcasing Chinese Opera masks on the wall. The space is open and spacious and bright. Pot of Jasmine Tea yum. The pot of tea/cup and the plates/bowls all match! Must be hard to keep that up! Double Smoke Pork - spicy but so good! Szechuan Opera Roast Duck - delicious! I want more! This was the most flavorful duck we've ever had. We'll be back for more duck!

We drove all the way from Boston to visit this place, and this was the worst service we have ever experienced in any restaurant. When we arrived, we stood at the front desk for several minutes and no one bothered to greet us or offer seating. We finally asked a staff member if we could sit anywhere, and she just pointed at a table, so we seated ourselves. A few minutes later, a man came over and asked how many people we had. We told him, and he looked extremely annoyed before he walked away. Only later did we realize he was actually the host. Very unprofessional. What shocked me the most was that we sat for almost 20 minutes without even receiving a single glass of water. It wasn’t busy at all — maybe about 10 tables with guests already eating. The staff walked around but never checked on
