Szechuan House

Szechuan House on Hwy 191 is an absolute gem in Odessa! Their Crab Rangoon is next-level — perfectly crispy and made with real crab, not imitation. The Crispy Szechuan Chicken packs a serious punch — bold, spicy, and a little salty, so bring your heat tolerance 🌶️. The Braised Beef Noodle Soup was pure comfort — rich broth, tender beef, and chewy noodles that hit the spot. Big portions, fair prices, and friendly service make this one of the best Chinese spots in West Texas.

I had an official meeting with my colleague here. They offer some great options vegans around Odessa. The food was delicious. I had vegetable dumplings, Homestyle fried tofu, and mixed vegetables. All of them taste really good.

We wanted some good Asian food. We got a recommendation from the people at discount tire. It was cooked FRESH! We had the veggie lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, orange peel chicken and general tao chicken. We also had some spring rolls and some crab Rangoon (not pictured). Everything was so good! We will be going back anytime we’re in Odessa. The service was beyond great, only down side was the sriracha sauce they had was sweet not too spicy kinda like ketchup. BUT the owner let us know she would get some of the spicy one with the green top ordered. It was a great experience.

Stopped on a drive from Dallas to Terlingua, had lazi ji, shan cheng xiao huoguo, and the sweet pea bean sprout dish. Food was fresh and delicious, prices were reasonable, service was friendly, and the atmosphere is really nice. Would definitely go again on a future trip to the Permian.

非常好吃！ I was in town from Houston on business and did not expect to find an authentic Chinese restaurant in the area, let alone a Sichuan restaurant. Houston has a lot of this cuisine and this restaurant is easily on par with some of the great ones back home! Friendly staff, beautiful presentation, and they use the good quality rice. I ordered the Sichuan pepper chicken and cucumber salad appetizer.
