I love the fish in the tanks near the booths. The lunch specials are 15-20 bucks with egg roll and soup. The hot and sour was great with chunks of chicken and lots of shrooms. The kitchen sounds were almost non existent and the booths were comfy.
This Chinese restaurant has authentic Szechuan and Shanghai cuisine, however, I was feeling that there was too much salt in our dishes. The dining room was great with a large fish tank, but the men restroom was smelly. The bar looked great. Service was fast. WiFi was not available. We tried several Chinese dishes. There were some decent ones which were required to reserve in 2hr. American Chinese dishes are also available. All dishes tasted not bad but too salty for me. Some meats tasted a little hard. The beef soup was my favorite as an appetizer.
It is very reminescent still has the old 80's vibe chinese restuarants when I was a kid; which I love. The food is always amazing we love the spicy tangerine chicken. The fish tanks ambiance is beautiful they keep it clean and the fish are beautiful and happy. Servers and cooks are really nice and always on top of drinks, napkins, or putting away any done plates. This is our go to in Reno. 😋😋😋 They have a alcohol bar as well if you enjoy that as well.
You might get food poisoning... Pot stickers were burnt but kinda edible, they had a very thick wrapping and very little filling In the Wor Won Ton soup, it consisted of Smoked ham/lunch meat and spinach(it really should've had bok choy or chinese cabbage and the bbq pork slices in stead of lunch meat squares, there were no carrots or water chestnuts) bland broth , no flavor, very misleading and the worst part, the won ton itself, I could've sworn they are supposed to have a filling, very disappointed. Pork fried rice was bland and oily, more than the usual amount of oil on a fried rice dish Triple delight sweet and sour: consists of 4 prawns. The manager tried to argue it was 6 pieces then retracted and corrected that it's 4 prawns, some chicken and pork... mostly pork. Orange chicken
Small Clean restaurant smells nice bathroom available to paying customers lots of fish tanks inside 🧄 garlic wings a must. Combination Fried rice good to go. I don’t recommend the veggie egg rolls if your a meat eater you love cabbage go for it. Wonton soup and wontons are good. Try to eat same day reheating doesn’t taste the same. Rice was a different texture when reheating just as any chicken best when first served. I wish I would have gotten white rice with it to enjoy all the fresh ingredients and heaping garlic 🧄
