Syosset Seafood is absolutely awesome. The service is exceptional, and the staff truly go above and beyond. Gary is especially amazing—he’s incredibly helpful and always takes the extra time to prepare the fish beautifully, making it so easy to cook at home. Jimmy, Gil, Lori, Karen, and the rest of the team are just as friendly and welcoming, and you can tell everyone there takes real pride in what they do. The seafood and fish are always extremely fresh, the sushi is excellent, and the prices are very fair for the high quality. They also make meal prep easy by offering helpful accompaniments like roasted potatoes and vegetables, plus convenient trays and delivery service. This local seafood market offers a vast selection to satisfy any seafood craving, with both fresh and cooked options. The prepared dishes are exactly what you'd hope for—fresh, flavorful, and true to the essence of good seafood. I also enjoyed the sushi stand inside, where each roll is made fresh, packed with generous portions of fish, and balanced with just the right amount of rice. The natural sweetness of the fish shines through, making for a deliciously light and satisfying bite.

This place is understated but so great. The product is clean and fresh and the people there are always professional and do a great job. It’s a little pricier than the grocery store but the fish freshness and quality is consistently high. I would get the regular Norwegian salmon and eat it as sashimi which was amazing. The sushi bar there is also really good for quick takeout. I went at least once a week and never been let down. This place is a gem. After I moved, it’s been hard to find a replacement. Miss you guys

LOVEEEEE THIS PLACE!! FRESH FISH and HANDS DOWN THE BEST SUSHI!!! You would never think it based on the small place inside where the sushi is, BUT IT IS SOOOO FRESH AND GOOD!! I never realized also how much food options they actually have! Although I don’t have the pics for everything I purchased I DEF recommend the following~ Tuna salad~ OH MY LORD, the BEST!!! One day I was ordering seafood salad and the person behind the counter also recommended the tuna as it is made with FRESH TUNA. 10000% You must try!! I will never look at canned tuna the same way again…LOL!!! This fresh tuna salad did NOT smell fishy at all. It is SO FRESH!! Makes you wonder what the heck is in the canned tuna. Anyway~ DEF RECOMMEND. I keep it in my fridge and have for lunch eating it right out of the container. I

Stopped in to pick up lunch the other day and was very satisfied. I ended up going with the flounder sandwich and some new England clam chowder. The sandwhich was a great value. The taste was great and it was nice and simple. A large portion of fish with lettuce and tomato on fresh bread. The clam chouder was very rich and was perfect for the cold day. Apparently this place has been here for over 20 years and I can see why. The staff is friendly, the selection is vast, and the taste and quality is second to none. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that I've lived in the area for 30+ years and this is my first time here! Definitely found my new spot for fresh fish.
