Swig & Swine

Did you know you can call in an order for pick up @ Swig & Swine? Yep! I had just had enough of sitting at the DMV when I decided to treat myself to Swig & Swine this afternoon! I called in my order for pick up, Jennifer (PLEASE let that be your name?? I know she answered with her name but I now have “brisket brain coma”.) answered and took my order, and honestly, that call I felt like I had an instant friend! Warm character and personality and makes a hungry girl, fresh out of the DMV, feel welcomed like a close family friend! BECAUSE I love S&S’s brisket sooo much, today I ordered the 3 meat platter and I made it ALL brisket! I feel zero shame in this. Zero. I also am a giant fan of greens, so I got a really beautiful sized portion of greens and today I opted to also try the Baked pot

There were some cool gators keeping us company while we waited for our table. We had good food. The service was excellent, happy smiling people that felt like genuine wanted to help get what you wanted. Over all a good experience tucked away behind all the hassle and bustle of town.

My go to bbq joint in the Charleston area. Love the meats. Love the sides. Love the drinks. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Great cozy location away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. If you haven’t tried it, do yourself a favor and visit.

We visited this Swig and Swine location yesterday. It was an absolute wonderful experience! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with big smiles! Everyone was so friendly! We were already happy with our decision to give it a try without even ordering yet! Our waitress was fantastic! We had a nice window table to see the sun shining on the water. When the food came out it was perfect. I got the PB&J wings and hubby got the catfish! EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS! Our cups stayed full and we legit had a great time! HIGHLY Recommend trying this location! Great food, service and people!

Great hangout spot for lunch or dinner. The food is fabulous. And we got a table very fast for 20 people. My mouth about fell on the floor with the size of the salad. I did not need to order anything else, but I got the 4 sides. The greens are vegan (only vegan option) but there is no meat in the coleslaw, corn pudding, or the pickled vegetables!! If you are a veggie lover do your self a favor and order the pickled vegetables. They are sooooo good!! A nice long doc to take a walk on after you eat. We saw a couple alligators in the water.
