I had the great pleasure of meeting Sarah who is absolutely 💯 wonderful. She always smiles at her customers. Always polite. Accommodating. She just makes her customers feel good with her beautiful personality. Excellent customer service 10+ rating. If I had a business I would hire her in a heart beat. I love coming to Sweetwater for my favorite jasmine cold tea but more importantly to see Sarah and her big beautiful bright smile.
I sent my fiance out for 6 bagels. He didn't go to the place that I instructed him. He found Sweetwaters. He said the bagels were $2.50 each! With nothing...just a bagel. What!???! We arrived home to toast my bagel, only to find that these were (if not similar) a Thomas's bagel that you get from the grocery store. At $2.50 a bagel? You should be ashamed of yourself! He said his coffee was just a watered down coffee. What a total total waste of money! $26.00, including tip. Yes, he tipped. I am furious! I wanted a REAL fresh made bagel. Argghh!
The homemade whip is soo good! The coffee is average, the syrups are the normal Ghirardelli and Torani. Nice place for small group or working space, lots of indoor outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. Plenty of vegan vegetarian options. I figured you’ll probably there’s a tropical smoothie right here.
UPDATE: after leaving my initial review I was able to speak with Patrick the owner about my experience. Patrick is clearly passionate about his team and the service they provide and was eager to change my impression of Sweetwaters. He and his team have done just that. I have gone back to Sweetwaters a few times and each time have been so impressed with how different things have been. The service has been significantly better and I’ve gotten great recommendations on coffee! While they aren’t the ‘fastest’ coffee shop around, that’s not my expectation for a local place and the wait is still reasonable for a good cup of coffee. Very glad to have this place so close to home. I really want to like Sweetwaters but despite multiple trips I am consistently disappointed. Overall the food is ok and
I do love the layout of the interior and lots of wall outlets for those that want to study and using their electronics. Food and the creme cameral is alright. I see lots of board games here, it is quiet a friendly atomsphere. They also do some events here as well.
