Let me start off: I love ice cream. So how was it? Unremarkable, considering any ice cream I will consume (like the majority of Americans). I've never seen any ice cream shop mess ice cream up enough that it didn't taste "good," which highlights the lack of skill involved, it is more comparable to a scientific concoction than a culinary art. The staff seemed just as neutral about my existence as I did the ice cream, but we will eat it up (me the ice cream, them their likely underwhelming paycheck). But here is where things went from (self-proclaimed) "sweet" to sour: I find it interesting that another previous review mentioned the egregious tip amounts and the coercion behind it, because I by accident selected the largest tip quantity... Excellent! What a great little ice cream shop with a pleasant staff and excellent ice cream and shakes! I was really impressed how rich the blueberry ice cream I had tasted and how great the flavor was. The milkshake was awesome too! I highly recommend visiting when I’m Clinton and I will certainly be back to try more flavors and items on the menu!

(As others have noted this place is CASH ONLY but I knew that thanks to this maps listing before going. ;3 ) We went here passing through the area, and I thought it was a really nice little place! The young man who served us was very friendly even told us about the history of the building as being from the 1800s as house #1 at the start of the main street and there's a cool old photo on the wall of it. I had bourbon pecan and pistachio ice cream and thought it was delicious. My wife commented that that they had warmed up the brownie for her brownie sundae. I thought the portions were perfectly fine for the price, I don't really understand what some reviewers were talking about on that point. Edit After Seeing your reply, I have a couple things to say. First off, there is no reason you could ever not change the tip amount or percentage on a POS system. I worked in finance for years for a company who actually maintained and sold POS systems and there is no reason you could ever not change your POS. Simply reach out to your POS system provider and request that. You mentioned the "Other" option... Yes it's there...but it's the fact that you have to go out of your way to tip less then the recommended amount. Thanks for agreeing that tipflation is outrageous - how about doing something about it instead of playing along?
