Sweet & Salao' by Chef Carmen LLC

So, I was looking for Spanish food in the area and came across Sweet & Salao. I was thrown off by the food truck but being a former New Yorker, I decided to go for it. Thank goodness I did!!! The woman in the truck was so nice and friendly and helpful. I got the fried chicken with rice and beans that came with a house salad. I also got tostones with a garlic sauce. As soon as I got the order, I got in my car and tried the tostones. Oh my, that was so wonderful. They were crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside and the garlic sauce was like nothing I've had before. Nice and garlicy with a hint of sweetness. The fried chicken is well fried and juicy, the rice and beans were seasoned and had some sweet plantains in it too. What a surprise, in a great way! If I could ask for anything,

Whenever I travel, I go to Sweet and Salao to enjoy their delicious food and transport myself to the island. If you haven't tried their food yet (you don't know what you're missing), I highly recommend it. They not only have a food truck, but they also offer catering. They're very attentive, very clean, and offer good quality, among other things. Thank you, Sweet and Salao, for your service.

Awesome place to eat love everything specially the alcapurias

I have eaten there several times and the food is tasty. Have had the "ensalada de pulpo" with mofongo and it was just how I liked it. Also have eaten the papas locas and they were very good.
