Sweet Lou's Restaurant and Tap House

The food looked good but was not that great. We paid a lot for bison ribs ($40) and there was barely any meat on them, they were tough/dry like they were cooked yesterday. The mashed potatoes were so dry we didn't eat them at all. The waitress never asked if it was OK even though she could visibly see we weren't eating it. The turkey club was good and the loaded potato soup was good.

I ordered the bison ribs tonight which is my usual order and they’re always fantastic! Tonight I had a small “complaint” that a couple ribs didn’t have much more than a small bite of meat on them, and they were quick to fix the problem and promptly brought me two more ribs that were nice and meaty. Also a great place if you are keto/carnivore, as you can substitute a side for eggs ☺️ My server Brianna was awesome and the manager as well (didn’t get his name but I’m sure he knows who he is, lol), they both checked on me a few times to make sure everything was good. Everyone was super nice and made sure I was fat and happy before paying my bill 😄😇 I’ll definitely be back soon!

I love Sweet Lou’s!!! The food is always made perfectly, and the staff is always extremely friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant. Definitely a family favorite!

A wonderful place out in Athol. So many great food options. We will definitely be back for more. We got Buffalo wings and calamari for appetizers, and then cheeseburger with sweet potatoes fries, ribs, and fish n chips (onion rings). Everything was awesome! Fresh ingredients, great flavor, and nice presentation. Staff was friendly and attentive. Outdoor patio area and i door areas were spacious, clean, and tidy!

I really enjoyed the Sweet Lou’s experience… The food was pretty good and so was the service. I really loved enjoyed the atmosphere 🩵
