First time visiting Sweet Auburn BBQ and I went to the McDonough location for brunch. Our server was amazing, she was to provide several recommendations based on popular dishes and even some of her favorites. I had the "Wu Tang" sauced smoked wings, the King of Memphis Melt with Brisket (pictured) and the Baked Beans. They gave a generous amount of Brisket for the sandwich which was awesome. I didn't really care for the baked beans so the next time I go I'll have to try something else, but I would definitely recommend visiting.
The food was interesting, BBQ with an Asian twist...like brisket egg rolls. We really enjoyed some of the food. Some was ok. Portions were generous, my husbands cubano was huge. One half was as big as my hand. Try it, you might like it. They also have some events like bike nights.
Constantly come back here because of Bree’s service! A great bartender and will keep you company while sitting at the bar. The service is usually good with any person but she is my favorite. Definitely order the Guava Margarita! Can’t go wrong with any drink here honestly and the ACE cider should forever stay on the menu. I would love to See Wild Leap Strawberry Mango cocktail! Love their happy hour! As far as the food, I can only recommend so many. I don’t eat red meat so I’m usually ordering the Bbq Tofu (ask for it extra crispy) with brussel sprouts and green beans. The sides are fried but a little pricey to me. The new fried rice is also BOMB! I usually get it with only veggies.
Me and my gf came to dinner tonight and our server Tracy was wonderful! She was really kind and helpful, answering all of our questions. The food was also very good!
$33 for a plate of ribs that were mediocre, a tiny container of collard greens that have ABSOLUTELY no seasoning and baked beans that taste like they came out of a can. My first and last time ever eating here. So disappointed
