Swadee Thai house

The place smells like must and mildew. The old white dude is a complete weirdo. Comes to our table and puts his hands on our plates and silverware and cups telling us we need to move it out of the way. Constantly reaches across your entire face while you’re talking to fill your water. The food is terrible. This was my second time going here and I only agreed to go again because two people said I should give it another chance. Their drunken noodles are disgusting and they are not made with the proper sauces that the Thai dish should be made with. They’re made with a chili sauce the noodles are overcooked and slimy just gross. Do yourself a favor and go to Thai Avenue instead!

The host is very rude. They really hate it if you don't have a reservation and make it clear when you arrive. The website said nothing about needing a reservation. We had no problem with the slow service, it's understandable during a dinner rush, but the host made us feel really uncomfortable our entire time there. The waitress however was incredibly sweet and friendly and without her I would have given a lower rating. As for the food, the curry puffs are REALLY good. Otherwise, I was unimpressed. The red curry was watery, bland, and had way more carrots than anything else.

We got the pad thai and it was the best I've ever had. Plus our server (owner?) was super sweet and friendly. We were just passing through, but if we lived in the area we definitely would come back.

Have been here many times. The food is always fresh, authentic and delicious. Huge shrimp in their dishes as opposed to other places that give you a few measly tiny shrimp. The Thai iced tea is awesome as well. The service is friendly and attentive. There’s a nice romantic atmosphere in the upper dining area.

Love the food here! We went for my birthday last year and everyone loved their meals. I come here often for take out and it’s just some of the best Thai food. Great portions, I always have food for more than one meal.
