First time visiting here. I flew in from California and I knew that this was gonna be a spot that I must visit with all that has happened this year to the restaurant. I must say that I have been to numerous restaurants from the West to the East Coast and this restaurant is by far the most timely, organized, spot on customer service and simultaneously delicious dishes. I highly recommend. Next time I fly into Boston, I will stop by again. A big thank you to all the staff for making it a welcoming environment to be in.
DELICIOUS. It was my first time trying Nigerian food- this restaurant blew me away. I tried various dishes, but I especially liked the egusi soup. It was incredibly flavorful, although if I were to order it again I would order it without chicken because the chicken leg wasn’t as flavorful as the soup itself. Please try this place, it’s amazing.
I think this is one of the best food spots I've ever been to. I was recommended Suya Joint by my friend, and I was very excited to try it because I've never had Nigerian food before. First, the service was friendly and fast. We ordered the dry rubbed chicken wings and beef samosas. I don't know what seasoning they use but it was delicious and the perfect level of spice where we can still enjoy our meal. The beef samosas were so light and flavorful too. We also ordered the African platter which consisted of jollof rice with plantains, egusi soup and fufu. We ordered extra goat as well. It was literally so mouth watering and amazing. Everything was perfect, seasoning was on point, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I would also recommend the pineapple cake for desert. Best way to end a specta
Me and my girlfriend came here two weeks ago in our visit to Boston. I am very particular about how my African foods are made, but this place is absolutely amazing! My girlfriend is Guatemalan, and when she tried their egusi and fufu she ended up dragging us back the next day!! Will be coming back on our next visit to Boston!
I have a severe gluten allergy and I found out about this place being naturally gluten free, so I drove 2 hours tonight just to try some authentic Nigerian food for my first time! Let me tell you, the vegetarian taushe stew with the pounded yam was one of the best dishes I have ever had! It was so warming and the flavors were just so incredible!! The staff were so nice and welcoming, it really just felt like home here. I will definitely be coming back to try so much more!!!
