Suwannee County Road Department

Its sad how the people who work off of our tax dollars have such outstanding views with this county across the board. Had a employee flip me off months back and made a phone call to report it. Which I presume was handled. Watch out between 630 and 645 coming off of goldkist the dump trucks dont stop multiple times I have had to go around or slam on brakes to avoid a wreck. When you try and get info off of truck or name they refuse to give you truck # or name. " call suwannee county road department" These people work for us. When they avoid going around you so you cant get # off of truck turning left he rides my butt then turns right at first federal to avoid me getting #s . And on top of it spending the amount of time and effort to fix driveway entrances instead of fixing the roads t

Had a tree growing in county right of way blocking view from driveway to see oncoming traffic, called them 4 times over 3 weeks before they sent someone out and he said they couldn’t do anything about it because if they did they’d have to do it again for the next person

These guys trying so hard to keep up with the dirt roads BUT losing. My driveway is in a curve, every time the grader comes he takes away dirt from the easement with results in a couple inches of a hump into my drive way. My truck can handle it but the tiny little car of the mail lady has a challenge. 77th Dr

After three weeks they finally graded my road. And made it so bad I am STUCK. A road service truck came by as I am trying to dig out (I am a 64 year old woman) and said call AAA and left. I tried calling the road dept just now and got a message that their mailbox is full. I cannot leave my home, and my van remains stuck in the road. Oh, and they also apparently cut my phone line. Again.

Please resurface 67th RD. I've been here 22 years and this is the worse service so far. used to be resurfaced every 4 week, then 6 now going on 8 weeks. also when it's resurfaced only the top few inches get done, never gets all the ridges and wash boarding out of it. It's so bad now I have to remove my denture. Maybe it should be paved? It's a short dead end road and its torn up by mail and other delivery service when they turn around. Not to mention all the properties on this road have sold and the county is collecting tax money.
