Sushigirl Kauai

Great sushi and more, all from a little truck in a cute courtyard. Discovered it while picking up coffee and bakery at a cafe that’s in the same courtyard. We ordered online and picked it up since it’s a truck and not a sit down restaurant. The courtyard has tables and benches shared across the vendors. So we sat at a table. You may have to wait a bit since this is a small operation run with care and love, and it shows in the food! We devoured everything we ordered. Voted amounts our table that the roll and sushi burrito to be the best thing. We could eat there everyday - the fish is just super fresh and the rice was well made proper sushi rice. We also had spam sushi called Musubi. Not my jam but my friends really enjoyed it. They also have a few vegan options. Highly recommend this place

If you only get sushi once on the island, this is where you should go. We have been coming to this spot for years and cannot say enough good things about the food and service. Daily fresh caught local fish served up in creative and delicious dishes in Maki Roll, Sushi Burrito, or Poke Bowl style.

My husband and I were so excited to try sushigirl and we were definitely not disappointed. We got poke bowls and they were so so good. Fresh ingredients which are locally sourced and the staff were incredibly friendly. There was a little bit of a wait (which was expected considering there were two people working) but that was totally fine, we just got a drink at the bar nearby while we waited. Such an amazing place, it’s a must try while you’re in Kauai!

We got there at 7:30pm on a Saturday night and it was completely dark, looked deserted. We planned our whole evening around going to this place so it was so sad. Maybe the restaurant hours need to be updated on here!😅

OMG, their food is just incredible! I was coming back from southern part of the Island, almost everyday, just to have their spicy tuna roll! Amazing quality of fish and that avo - my fav food on Kauai! They also offer gluten free soy sauce!
