Sushi Vice

The appetizers (edamame and tataki) really set the bar high and then my spicy salmon roll comes out looking like this. What kind of sushi place makes rolls with no fish, not to mention the roll itself is made incorrectly. The issue was fixed but idk how this is even acceptable to send out to a table in the first place. The hostess was also pretty hostile to a homeless person who came around asking for money. Highly overrated place, not coming back here

I can’t say much about the atmosphere, but if it’s as good as their food- it’s 5 stars! We got our order delivered- it was at our hotel room within 45 minutes. We tried most of the specialty rolls and some of their sides- the poison ivy being a standout roll and the fried rice being a favorite side. The sandlot salad was a close runner up for sides, the mix of greens and dressing was refreshing and delicious. The cool running cucumber salad was good, but not like the aforementioned. I would order all of these rolls again- blood moon, sunny d, Miami vice, and their California roll! The nigiri was fresh and a great complement to our meal. I have really mixed feelings about how to rate them. We arrived and was asked if we wanted the bar or a table. Opting for a table we were seated at the counter looking out the window. Not bad, as it offered great people watching, but I thought we would be given a table. The atmosphere is cute, upbeat and open. There's a big bar inside and tables inside and out. What we ordered - Terminator (Tuna) Tataki - I've seen pics on line and what we got didn't look as robust. Still a pretty presentation though. It was an interesting blend of flavors. I thought the ponzu (citrus) flavor was a little overwhelming. That, along with the blend of spices it was seared with, didn't quite hit my palette right. CA Roll - Classic and fresh. New Jack Nigiri - we got half salmon and half tuna. The

Excellent sushi place. Rolls are cheaper than most of other places, but also smaller. I would suggest to get an extra roll. Excellent service as well and dog friendly if you sit outside.

This is the perfect addition to Virginia Beach! The sushi was great. The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was fun! They have a great patio to sit outside and a nice bar and table inside! They were very busy when we went there, so our waitress gave us sake on the house as a thank you for being patient! That felt like above and beyond service in this day and age! The sushi was great, and very reasonably priced! They were very cognizant of allergies at the table, which was greatly appreciated. I will be going back!
