Sushi Takatsu

Good price but the lunch special was very spare, as in small size and not much in it and the crispy topping and sauce retracted from the rice and fish and I had to remove it. Also really don't like a place which serves their food only in to-go containers. Very nice staff. Location, like everything in the area, is in a maze and difficult to find.

This place is in the skyways in Baker Center. There are only a couple of stools to sit on so this is more of a take out place. Ordering is quick and easy and the staff help you pick if you’re undecided. The rolls come out fast but fresh. Everything I’ve had there is absolutely delicious. And the price is very affordable compared to some sit down restaurants in the downtown area.

Small sushi restaurant near the skyway that was a bit difficult to find but I’m so glad we did! Super friendly staff and the portion sizes were generous and very reasonably priced. The fish was super fresh and delicious! I got the Winter Roll and Lava Roll and both were amazing! Will definitely come back next time I’m in town!

Great sushi (minnesota standards) at a reasonable price. For downtown Minneapolis lunch best place for sushi. Some seating but if you have a group, best to go. Can order advance online

Amazing lunch special. Affordable, no frills food located in a walkable spot in downtown. The speed of service was incredible.
