Good sushi at a very good price. There appears to be inconsistencies in how the sushi is assembled. The proportions of rice to protein fluctuate as tge day goes on. I am attributing this to running out of rice. Be aware that this is a busy place, that makes fresh sushi combos and dishes to order. The seating is seriously non-existent, so I recommend picking your order up for consumption elsewhere. For the price, you cannot go wrong. I've been getting sushi here regularly and have never been truly disappointed. I recommend the Triple Box. It contains three rolls and three pieces of sushi at under $20. This combo box include salmon, tuna and yellowtail. There are many other options as well.
This restaurant is listed as “KI sushi spot“ on seamless or Grubhub for delivery. They use fake names on these services so you can’t identify the restaurant. This restaurant sells garbage sushi and charges real money for it. It belongs in the trash.
The guy at the register was really sweet and the place is small but my friend and I expected the food to be better due to the other reviews. Starting off with the good, I liked the salmon roll, but other than that the rice was mushy, not like typical sushi rice, and the tuna had a weird texture. I eat a lot of sushi and maybe we stopped by at a bad time it was $26.90 for seven sushi rolls: salmon, tuna, spicy tuna, spicy roll, two shrimp tempura, and a California roll. A great deal but unfortunately upset our stomachs and couldn’t finish the rest. Again the staff was sweet, just wish the food met our expectations.
Sushi Spot is a hole-in-the-wall takeout spot with shockingly affordable prices. Seven rolls cost $24.75 plus tax. Service is very fast. As for quality, it’s better to go with the oshinko, unagi, ebi and tempura rather than the tuna.
Amazing - highly recommend this tiny yet excellent sushi take away. Our go to sushi take out during 1 week vacation in NY while staying in midtown west, we traveled here 3x. Near the museum and park. Great quality. Excellent value for money. Especially with 2 teenage boys. Lunch specials highly recommended!!
