Sushi Sake

My mom and I literally travel from DC to Reno just to eat here that’s how incredible the sushi and the people are. Sushi Sake is located inside The ROW in Reno, making it super convenient whether you’re staying at Silver Legacy, Eldorado, or Circus Circus. The atmosphere is lively but still intimate, with a sleek, modern setup that feels upscale without being stuffy. What really sets this place apart is the live music and energy it adds such a fun, relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay longer, order more, and just enjoy the night. It’s perfect for date nights, celebrations, or even a chill dinner after casino hopping. Kuhn is absolutely amazing. He gives thoughtful recommendations, introduces you to different types of sushi, and actually remembers you if you come back more than once,

The sushi itself was good, but unfortunately my experience was overshadowed by a service issue. I ordered miso soup and found a long gray/black hair in it. I informed the waitress, who stated it wasn’t hers (she had a short black bob) and seemed unsure how to respond. I requested a replacement soup, and when it was brought out, she made the unnecessary comment, "Good luck" which felt unprofessional and uncomfortable.

Some of the best sushi I had and believe me, I'm a sushi junky!! I love fresh fish and their sashimi was impeccable quality and very well sized! I highly recommend Sushi Sake!! If I were to tell you what we had, I would say: we had the best 12 piece sashimi that hit the "G Spot" of a "Lady In Red" so she started seeing a "Rainbow"!!! Yeah!

Sushi Sake really does beat the rest and I will tell you how. They do not do all you can eat but they give less rice and more of the delicious fish and ingredients. Compare!
