Sushi O Bistro & Sushi Bar

We were a bit tired of our regular sushi place and wanted to try something new but not too pricey- and open on a Monday! It wasn’t terribly busy, so we were served quickly. Our server was fantastic, very calm and quick. She overheard us debating two menu items, and when we ordered one, she let us know the other is better- so kind! (And she was right, it was amazing!) Food and drinks came out quickly and were DELICIOUS! Our server was also training another server, and she was doing a great job, very on point and looking for how to help. You know a meal is good when you wake up at 2 am for the bathroom and are tempting to grab leftovers on the way back to bed! Can’t wait to go back!

I’ve always passed by Sushi O on Glenwood Ave and finally decided to try it out with a friend for dinner. This was my first time dining there. We chose to sit outside to enjoy the weather, and while the wait time was reasonable, we ran into an issue right away—there were a lot of cockroaches around the first outdoor table, which made us uncomfortable. We asked to move to another table, and the staff accommodated us. We started with the fried calamari—it was just okay, nothing special. Our server was friendly and helpful throughout the meal. We ordered Coke, but it tasted flat, almost like it had no flavor. We also got soup, which turned out to be way too spicy for our taste, so we asked to swap our soups for something else. Honestly, this was a great experience! My friends and I decided together since it’s been a while and chose this place! SO GLAD WE DID! Parking- there is a parking deck in the back and you don’t have to pay if you are dining here. Just let the host know your parking spot number. Love that. Food- TOO GOOD.
