Sushi Island Japanese Restaurant

The main reason I like to come here is the quick in and out service. As far as the sushi on the belt goes 80% is seemingly Krab meat which I dont get too excited about. Can find a salmon or tuna here and there. Nothing to elaborate on te belt. I feel like its a clean restaurant and nice people. If you are looking for more higher grade sushi I would suggest another spot, but good for a quick lunch

The food here is always ok and service is ok. But until today it was good enough. Today i ordered some stuff to be made because they didn’t have it on the track. When they do that they give tickets for those items to be counted because it is by the plate and normally those items don’t come on regular plates. Today several items I special ordered did come on plates so I told the waitress when she was counting plates and adding the ticket to the bill. She still charged me for the plate that the special orders came on so basically I paid twice for some items. When I pointed it out again she argued with me about it but I am not going to make a huge scene so I paid for it and told her I would pay her total but I won’t be back. This time it was an extra $10 but how many times did I not pay atte

First time here. Really enjoyed the sashimi platter. The rotating belt of different sushi was pretty cool too. Haven’t seen that anywhere. Overall this place was very enjoyable. Can’t leave out the miso soup. Tons of flavor just like the sushi. And for the price, I don’t think you can beat it. Give them a try if you haven’t been here! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

The owner doesn’t have a deep understanding of sushi, so don’t expect high-quality sushi here. However, if you’re just looking to have a California roll or similar types of sushi, it should be fine. In terms of traditional sushi, the rice is too sticky and resembles mochi, and the texture and freshness of the fish aren’t great. The tempura also reflects a lack of understanding of Japanese cuisine. The miso soup is made from an instant packet. I wouldn’t recommend this place to those who have a good understanding of Japanese sushi or tempura. I don’t plan to visit this place again.
