This cozy, locally-owned sushi restaurant has been around for 18 years—run by a husband-and-wife duo—and I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of it sooner. The atmosphere is very much that of a neighborhood gem. The service was fast, friendly, and personal, with the owners sharing how they strive to keep their prices affordable for their regulars. I opted for the lunch special, which includes two basic rolls and a side of soup or salad. I added a spicy salmon roll to my order and was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and delicious everything was. The sushi was well-made, flavorful, and incredibly affordable. There is an age old tradition of Chinese food on Christmas. I however just haven’t been able to find a good Chinese place. This was literally the only place that picked up my call. The owner was all by his onesies. His kid didn’t want to help him out boo! But it was a pleasure! Grabbed a small sushi combo and was greeted with the nicest conversation! I can’t wait to come back here on a day that isn’t Christmas and eat some good sushi!
