Customer Reviews
Susheria is a great choice for anniversaries or special occasions. Reservations are strongly recommended, and since it’s in a busy Georgetown area, plan extra time for parking and walking. The food and service were excellent, and the courtesy drinks for a special occasion were a really nice touch that many other guests mention too. Portions can be on the smaller side, so if you’re really hungry, ordering a bit more food is a good idea. Overall, it feels polished, celebratory, and well run.
Went here yesterday with my girls. It was an amazing time. There was a woman DJ with locs playing R&B and she did not disappoint. It was a little hard to hear and have convo, I will say. The food was great. I had calamari and the Amazonico sushi. I had their house sweet red wine. The lighting gave intimate date night. The hookah was soooo smooth. $77 for the hookah which is a bit pricey but it was great.
Susheria is a cozy and atmospheric restaurant in Washington DC with a stylish interior and a warm, welcoming vibe. The food is delicious and beautifully presented — the ceviche was especially outstanding. The menu offers a great balance of Japanese and Peruvian flavors, and every dish feels thoughtfully prepared. The restaurant is perfect for date nights, gatherings with friends, or a relaxed family dinner. Friendly and attentive staff, along with live music on select evenings, make the overall experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an elegant and cozy dining spot in DC.
Last night at R&B Wednesdays was amazing as far as the music & food. Especially the beginning half until like 9:45. The lady DJ was great!! I will say some of the staff need better hospitality skills. You cannot talk to customers any type of way just because the entire staff doesn’t have clear communication. The TWO HOUR time limit, needs to be disclosed on the website or as soon as you get to the table. Even if that’s a fluctuating policy disclose it. “Depending on the volume of the night your party may be given a 2 hour time limit”. Telling someone that after they begin ordering is wrong. Especially if they prefer to spend money the entire night. At least try to find another accommodation. Thankfully the food and DJ were so good this didn’t really bother me. So I will be back for R&B Wed
Nice attentive service with great ambience and cuisine. Vibe is colorful too. Chicken dumpling, drgpnm roll and salmon sushi were alll delicious. Lastly the vanilla cheesecake was scrumptious.
