Susan's offers several choices of pre-cooked dishes and desserts at reasonable prices. I tried their sautéed green beans with fried tofu paired with lumpia, which I enjoyed. They have several tables for those who are dining in, and have a party room as well. If you enjoy karaoke, they have it available for their diners as well! The dining area was organized and clean, and they had lysol wipes on the tables, possibly to sanitize the microphones as they can get passed down from one table to another.
First time here and can’t wait to come back!! Huge portions for a great price. We did a 3 entree combo, 2 entree combo, 1 small pancit, 2 lumpia, 1 soup, and 1 water bottle for $35 before tip. We enjoyed the beef stew, beef and onions, chicken adobo, and two other pork dishes I am unsure of the name. It is cafeteria style and the ladies behind the counter are more than generous with their scoops of all the entrees. Ate here a few hour again and I am still full as I type this. Bonus is we had enough left overs combined for one more meal to enjoy tomorrow. Definitely give this place a try!
I just moved from CA and missed my hometown kitchenette but I was pleased with Susan’s portions and taste. I was really surprised by how much the serving was. I had the chicken adobo and beefsteak which was delicious and pancit and halo halo which all came out to under $20.
This place has gone seriously downhill. I hadn’t been here in about six years and was expecting the Filipino food I remembered — flavorful, comforting, and well-prepared. What I got instead was extremely disappointing. The pata (ham hock) was nearly inedible — rubbery, greasy, and so tough I couldn’t break it apart with a plastic fork. There was barely any meat, just skin and fat, and none of the rich, sweet sauce that this dish is known for. It honestly felt like leftovers that had been sitting in grease. The pork adobo was just as bad — small pieces buried under an excessive amount of pancit, clearly used as filler. The food felt rushed and careless, not like anyone took pride in it. Even the lumpia, which I asked to have cooked fresh, came out dark and greasy. They were also running
Went here for a friend's and her uncle's birthday. Nice size banquet area room appropriate for up to about 50 or so people (from what I saw). The catering of Philipino style cooking was very good. Overall, nice place to plan a get-together.
