Surfside Beach

Make sure make sure you bring something for the mosquitoes, but you and your family will have one of the greatest times ever and for sure make a memory. I would dig a hole start a little fire. If you don’t have no money for mosquito spray or mosquito spray isn’t working (wet wood would generate a decent amount of smoke. You don’t want a big fire maybe just a 1 foot all the way around diameter.

The price is now 30 dollars for a season pass or 10 per visit. It’s a steep hike from last years 20. Still it’s nice to drive on the beach and have your vehicle right by you.

My preferred beach to go to. Allowed to drive out unto the beach, but can't park close to the water. Which is fine btw. A lot of seaweed at times. Less crowed than Galveston beach. Just absolutely peaceful but people are finding out about this one now, so it's been steadily gaining traffic.

It's a really crowded beach got there at 9:30 was already pretty packed. In the afternoon it was even worst our tent got surrounded by cars which needed someone to move their car to be able to get out. The sand is silky smooth, yet the water is muddy and not clear. It's a family hangout beach and remember to put sunscreen or it's really burning after you get home.
