Surcheros - Baytree Rd. Valdosta, GA

Surcheros is a great place to catchup with a friend or relax at the end of a long day with some tasty variety of southwestern flavors. One caveat: my wife is gluten-intolerant and they try really hard. Sometimes they succeed and sometimes they do not. The cross-contamination of gluten is so fluid and many staff just are not trained what gluten actually is (but it is getting better everywhere). She just does not come anymore, so I come with others but a whole lot less now due to opportunity. Just a quick shout out! Clayton took very good care of us when my son and I accidentally spilled our drinks at a table that rocks. Very thankful for this young man!!

My buddy recommended this place to me and our group of friends so we gave it a try. This place is 100% better than Chipotle and Moes. Same concept but this place offers so much more. The service is fast and the food had flavor which makes this a place I will come back too. The only for small issue is the inside is a bit messy and the tables weren’t very clean. Parking might be an issue at peak hours but once again service is fast so depending if grabbing and going, this shouldn’t much of an issues. Also, it’s a little bit more expensive but well worth it. Portion size is huge..!!

The food is absolutely fresh, lots of vegetable choices, they are generous with the black bean when requested which is great for vegetarians who need protein. Did I say fresh? They don't seem to run out of items either. Much prefer this chain than their big rival that begins with a C. Psst: chips are included with the bowl and the selection of hot sauces is amazing.

Not a great first time experience, wasn't aware that a lot of items are free to add to ur bowl, need to stop these rhetorical questions, like who wouldn't want a free bag of chips??? Just put it in unless customers said no... definitely didn't get my money's worth first try but will be visiting again since I know what the game is now

In Valdosta for the day and stumbled across this little place. It's kind of like Chipotle in how you assemble your own entree, but there were a lot more choices in toppings. I got the mini nachos and there was nothing mini about them. The chips were fine, nothing special, but the carnitas, the queso, and special sauce really brought the food to an over the top taste level. The restaurant was nice, clean, inviting, although some of the booths seats need repaired. The staff was nice, even when we had no idea what our how to order and helped with suggestions. I would recommend checking this place out.
