Superior Grill Lafayette

Went here with my husband and his friends, and I totally loved the vibes, decor, and overall look of the restaurant—it really reminded me of restaurants in New York. Even from the parking lot, you can already smell the food. The whole area was filled with the smoky steak aroma, which instantly made me extra hungry. When you walk in, you can see them handmaking their own tortillas, and that alone got me really excited to try the food. We were seated in a separate room. I stopped by here before heading back to my hometown. I sat at the bar I ordered an appetizer the CHIMICHANGA which was delicious. My entree was a bacon hamburger. It was good my food came out in a timely manner. The ambiance was real laid back.

Grilled Redfish was ok, but I don't like the skin left on one side. The Grilled Shrimp were butterflied but still had the shells, which was wierd.

First time coming to the location since they opened. Took a coworker out who was in town for training, and she said this location beats Baton Rouge downtown one hands down! The food was great, service was amazing. We had two of the managers come up to the table to check on us and to see them helping with setting up tables was really awesome to see. I made a reservation online and it was ready, they even called to make sure I made it to the restaurant. I'm coming back with a big party next time!

Overpriced and underdelivered. We had 2 groups of 2 and made it just in time for the lunch specials to end and happy hour to begin. Our friend had 2 margaritas, which they said were good, the food was very disappointing. The nachos were $20, the chicken sandwich came with soggy lettuce, and a single slice of tomato, the fries were hard. The quesadilla was just chicken and cheese and was mostly empty. With a name like Superior and prices like there's I was very disappointed. Our friends who ordered margaritas spent close to $70 our bill for 1 soda, 1 quesadilla, and 1 chicken sandwich was $38, not a bad price, but the food was extremely unsatisfying. The chips were good but lacked salt, and the salsa was ok.
