Sunrise Family Restaurant

Went after my son was baptized. Place was packed even with a reservation but small wait even with 10-12 people. Great service, food was exactly what we expected. No complaints from the whole group.

Been here many times. Unfortunately today was not a good experience. Hostess obviously did not want to be here. It may have been the worst greeting and seating experience ever. Food was standard and inexpensive. Ketchup bottle was sweating from the humidity in this place. Too bad. This used to be a great place. The waitress was ok. Not friendly. It seemed like no one wanted to be there. Maybe moral is low. Who knows. Won't be back for a while.

The order should have only came up to $103 an some change before tax an after I ended up paying $148.44. So they charge $44 somethin in taxes?? There's now way, I told them no to a tip on card cause I left a cash tip and I'm pretty sure they still took a tip off my card. Definitely will not be back there for them to rip me off!! To be honest I feel I'm owed some type of money back

Edit: I was charged before tax was 43.62 and 49.10 after tax which isn't right. I was taken back by it when I seen it cause I figured something was wrong. So I had said no tip. I thought I had cash. I didn't so I went to the bank. I brought in the tip to the waitress. I just figured out the tax rate would have been 2.84 so I was charged 2.64 extra for no reason. Of course the copy that I signed had it all on there and mine just shows 49.10 but what they didn't count on was me taking a picture of the bill for my first time review. This gives me a yuck feel like I'm getting scammed out of money. We ate at the Sunshine Family Restaurant yesterday night and will definitely be back. The food was great and they had great prices. Staff always polite and attentive , foods always fresh, hot and not forgot about to get cold when ready. Food is not the most seasoned but is good never disappointed when we go, whether breakfast or lunch dinner its quick go too.
