Sunnyside Book & Media Swap

I love this place, such a unique part of our community. I am so grateful for it and I have found so many good books! The kids book selection is great too, every time I bring kids to the park we have to look at the books and it gets them really interested in reading. I also love the piano and chess table- it really brings people together.

I recently donated some items here including cassettes, DVDs, and books. The stand seems to be there everyday for browsing and donations. But you can always text the number ahead of time to confirm.

I've found some excellent books here. The donations from Sunnyside are very diverse and cover many areas of interest. The 1$ requested donation is miniscule and totally optional. Really big thanks to the operators of this community resource.

Absolutely FANTASTIC place! I've already donated a bunch of fantasy books from my self-publishing friends and have found some GREAT books for myself. Everyone is very friendly and they only ask $1 a book, but of course I give more I just have to for such a great place, and so close to me. It's busier on the weekends of course but they always have a wonderful, ever changing, stock of books for the bookworm in us, for all ages too!

It’s a wonderful resource for the community. Someone mentioned the $1 donation and he is operating a business. The donation is totally optional and I’m sure many visitors forego it. He has the responsibility for organizing all of the items, including disposing of the crap stuff he must get so the request is hardly a hardship for most that utilize the service provided.
