Sunny’s Family Diner - Custard and Shave Ice

We were in town celebrating a triple anniversary and we decided to end our trip with a breakfast triple date at Sunnys based on their reviews we saw on google. We chose the right place for sure! We loved all our food and the ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful. Spacious inside and plenty of parking outside. Just a little disappointed in our server because she was barely welcoming and almost had an attitude on her face the whole time as if she did not want to be working that day, but still served professionally. Other than that everything was amazing! We definitely recommend it if you're ever in the area or if you live there and haven't tried it out yet.

Was pleasantly surprised. Loved the atmosphere when we walked in and greeted by the hostess/ server Jasmine. We were seated by our choice and viewed the menu that displayed great options. I ordered scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese and fresh chopped tomato's 2 slices of sourdough toasted to my request and turkey bacon cooked straight and crispy. My husband enjoyed his eggs with pancakes and the warm syrup. Very reasonably priced and a great breakfast experience. I loved the 70's music!!!

Sunny's is probably my favorite breakfast place! Interesting menu options, huge selection and great fresh brewed ice tea. They check all the boxes. Canned or homemade hash, hash browns or home fries, probably a dozen benedict options and even more omelets! Great people.

Whenever I am in henrieatta, I seemed to pass this place and not sure I ever checked this out before today. 11-28-25 It said on the menu you could do the omelette as a wrap or quesadilla, I decided to try the broccoli cheddar omelette quesadilla and hash browns, it was really yummy, I also got something called the Crunchwrap that they had with hash browns. both of thoughs dishes were really tasty. Looks like they have a lot of other good choices to choose from.

Diner having very good classic atmosphere near University of Rochester! I feel a little more expensive than another diners around here but I liked the quality of food and vibe. I visited my friend from another state. Good place to spend time. Server recommended me Munch, I enjoyed. I want to try different one next time.
