Sunday Gravy NJ

The Lobster bisque was very good and delicious; however, the calamari and shrimp appetizer was bland. They should serve marinara or an aoli dipping sauce with the calamari. The short rib entree special was OK but was small and had very little garlic mashed potatoes as the accompaniment. For a pricey dish, and for it to be a special entree for the evening dinner, the size portion of both did not meet expectations. The Shrimp Scampi over rice had large shrimps, but the sauce had too much garlic in it so my wife did not eat all of it. Overall, our dining experience was just OK, but it did not impress us.

My in-laws live in New Jersey and we were visiting from PA - what a fabulous suggestion! It was absolutely delicious. I am not a huge fan of going out to eat, it is so expensive these days, but this was worth it. Every meal was worth every penny. And the BYOB is a good idea! High recommend. We ate the rib eye ravioli, chicken parm, meatballs, and halibut - all fantastic

Everything about dining at Sunday Gravy is fantastic. My favorites are the creamy, 'pillowy' gnocchi and calamari appetizers, the Pork Ragu pasta, Short Rib special, and Chicken Parm with vodka sauce. The ambiance is cozy and inviting with very friendly staff that make you feel like family. We can't stop bringing our friends and family to try this place and so far they have all loved it. Tip: make reservations ahead of time because they book up quickly!

Can't beat a classy Italian place with BYOB! Great service and delicious food. Love the boneless Short Rib!

Very nice Italian restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, good food and excellent service. We arrived for a 4:30 reservation on a Friday and it was empty. Very cozy atmosphere inside, dimly lit and not very big. Our waitress was excellent and provided top notch service the whole time. The stuffed gnocchi and Caesar salad was great and we had chicken parmigiana which was perfectly cooked. Very clean and a great place for dinner. Only negative is everything is a la carte and for the food on the expensive side, probably due to its location in Linwood. I hate a la cart - it’s just a way for the restaurant to run up the bill. For example, $15 for a Caesar salad? Really? Overall, if you don’t mind that, this is a great restaurant with good food and excellent service.
