We took a full 2-hour trek because I kept seeing videos of the hashbrown mushroom weekend special and I needed to try it. Unfortunately, when we got there, they were already sold out. I totally understand that specials run out, but it would’ve been really helpful if there were updates on Instagram—especially for people making a long trip just for that item. I’m not going to lie my hormones got the best of me and I literally started crying when I realized I wouldn’t get to try it 😭 (embarrassing, I know). BUT, everything else completely turned the experience around. We tried the grandmas arepa and the guava bread and they were sooooo good. Worth the trip on their own. And the owner was so sweet and kind, he even gave us cookies for the road, which honestly changed my whole mood and left m

So excited to share about Sunday C&C Bakery’s new location! It cozy & cute & I love the orange vibes 🍊 the exterior signage is also lovely! We got everything vegan: matcha lattes, a yogurt bowl, focaccia sandwich, and morning bun. The morning bun was a delight! Highly recommend and thank goodness it’s one of their vegan pastry options 🙏🏻 the yogurt bowl is made with cocojune yogurt for the vegan option and comes deconstructed (see photo). It was delicious, fresh, and a great portion size! The star of the focaccia sandwich (made with a vegan tofu egg patty) was the tomato jam! It was fabulous! The matcha wasn’t anything to write home about. It was a pretty small glass so I thought the matcha would be strong (bc small amount of oat milk) but it really didn’t have much taste to it, so a bit

Tried this new spot and it exceeded my high expectations! Our order: croissant- Officially my new favorite croissant, not super traditional but a welcome take with subtle sweetness. I asked if the pastries are all made in house and they are! It even turns out that the incredible croissant I had was vegan! I’m impressed. Focaccia sandwich- Fantastic! The tomato jam sets this far above your average breakfast sandwich. Fresh yummy focaccia, perfect steamed egg, freshness from the frisée salad. I’m pleased! Home fries- yet another elevated take on a classic offering. The potatoes are tossed in the aioli and tomato jam making every bite perfect. Great flavors. Single shot flat white- Unsurprisingly great. The coffee is of course on par with the excellence of the food. Also want to give my comp

What an absolute neighborhood gem - I stumbled upon Sunday C&C this weekend & I am not exaggerating- some of the best pastries in New York City. This place is as good as Radio Bakery - without the crazy line . Staff is friendly, service impeccable, & I even met the owner, Christian - great guy!!! I will be returning regularly & I do not even live that close. This is the kind of spot that makes New York so special. 5 stars.

Stopped in for the first time today. The space is so warm and welcoming, and knowing that they did the interior themselves makes it that much more special. As expected, the breakfast, pastries, and coffees were phenomenal - and well priced for the quality! Can’t wait to go back again and again, and so thrilled for their instant success 🥹
