Sundaes The Ice Cream Place

Yum!! Spring is almost here and we stopped by Sundaes for delicious ice cream. Lots to choose from! I had a small Salty Sea Captain Sundae which was generous with lots of hot fudge and Geoff had a scoop of Brownie’s Irish Cream. This was our second time there, again, delicious. Lots of kids. There is plenty of parking. The ice cream shop is accessible. There are plenty of benches outside, but this is mostly a take out. If you’re looking for ice cream cakes, they have many!

I remember when Sundaes first opened. I was a young child living in Manasquan, and I became obsessed with their chunky, rich flavors. My favorites were ooey gooey Oreo, chocolate overload, dark side of the moon, and sticky fingers. Each flavor was so unique and absolutely tantalizing. I also loved their chocolate malts and soft vanilla with rainbow sprinkles or cookie doughs. I moved to the Midwest for college, and I still live there, but I’ve always missed being close to Sundaes. I’m back in town for a funeral, so I decided to visit Sundaes. Who doesn’t love a sweet treat after a hard day? I’m pleased to say that Sundaes hasn’t changed a bit. The vibe, the decor, the bright lights, and the signature flavors were all so familiar. Eating the ice cream made me so nostalgic and truly bright

We are in town for the week, and some of the other places in town close by 9PM, but this was open and buuuuuussssyyy. The line moved quickly and the ice cream was great. They do more than just scoop and serve, with pre packaged treats and cakes. We really enjoyed it!

Such a cute icecream place with unique flavors!! Tried cappuccino explosion and cannoli and both were amazing!!

I love this place. We stop by every time we go to the beach. I got Ooey Gooey Oreo and Samoa on a cone and LOVED it. My 4yo loved her cotton candy ice cream, and my 9yo loved his raspberry ice cream (which I sampled and will definitely get a scoop of next time). Wonderful stop.
