Sunapee View Bed and Breakfast

This place was WONDERFUL. TripAdvisor should rank them higher. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Linda (George was tending the garden). Linda had a fresh delicious snack plate waiting, along with wine. We sat on the outdoor swinging bench and took in the peaceful view of the backyard. The property has a peaceful feel, a Koi fish pond, an expansive grass field, flowers, a huge Beech tree for shade, and a hammock. We enjoyed the hammock twice and the backyard was very quiet. The room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. The room had AC, a ceiling fan, and a small electric fireplace. The bathroom featured a large jet massage tub which fit two people. Linda and George were fantastic hosts! A cozy, warm atmosphere, wonderful rooms and absolutely delicious breakfasts (along with generous cheese plates in the late afternoon to enjoy by the fire!). Would highly recommend their lovely bed and breakfast to anyone looking to stay in the Sunapee area!

Let me start by saying that the breakfasts we had at Sunapee View B&B were some of the best breakfasts we have ever had, anywhere, period. It was truly a gourmet experience. The daily cheese and fruit plate that was provided was delicious, and the cookies were so good. Linda and George are terrific hosts, very welcoming and attentive. Linda gave us some extra cookies each day to share with our son at nearby Colby-Sawyer college. George lit a fire for us in the comfortable living room after we arrived back at the B&B after 9:00pm one night. The place is immaculate and so tastefully decorated. We stayed in the Apple Blossom room and were extremely comfortable. The location is ideal - less than 15 minutes from downtown New London, adjacent to The Fells and Lake Sunapee. We hope to be

Linda and George have created such a wonderful experience in a great location. The home is clean, well decorated and comfortable. The bed was comfy and the bubble jet tub a treat! Breakfast every day was incredible and included delightful humming from George as they both worked side by side in the kitchen. It brought a smile to my face daily. The property is gorgeous with huge views, well kept flowers and even a koi pond with a waterfall that makes for a blissful environment to sit and read a book out on the screened in back porch. The patio is shaded by a huge, gorgeous tree and makes for a magical setting. I can't say enough about this lovely place! 8 minutes from Mount Sunapee, 4 minutes to a dock with public access for swimming in Lake Sunapee (which is so beautiful). A mist!

This is a great bed and breakfast. The owners do a fabulous job hosting you and making you comfortable. The rooms are well appointed, have flat panel TV's (many B&B's either don't have or are old TV's ... I didn't even turn it on but I know people care about that), beautiful bathrooms, toiletries, etc., there are umbrellas, beach towels, bug spray. Basically anything you might need while enjoying a weekend away, they have provided. The gardens are beautiful and well managed and the food was delicious. We were three moms that each booked one of the three rooms for R&R after the end of school year, so we had the building to ourselves. There was a yoga retreat next door that was awesome.
