Sun Down Cafe

Besides the delicious food, the atmosphere is great. It is locally owned and the owners son was our waiter and he is so personable. Good prices and daily specials. You never have to wait for coffee refills. Stopped in on my way back from Cottage Grove and I am glad I did.

This cafe is very family oriented. The staff are very nice and you feel more like family than guests when you arrive. Coloring books are provided for children to keep them from getting bored. I ordered the meateater's skillet with my eggs over medium and my wife ordered the same, with her eggs scrambled and on a different plate for our daughter. I opted for a small pancake in place of toast. The food is delicious, from the crispy pieces of bacon, ham and sausage to the perfect hash browns. This is hands down, the best cafe I have eaten at in Wisconsin and I will be a loyal customer for many years to come!

Sundown Cafe in Clinton is such a cozy little spot! The food was hearty and delicious – big portions and everything tasted homemade. The service was excellent; everyone was super friendly and quick to check on us. The atmosphere has that small-town, family vibe that makes you feel welcome right away. Definitely a great place to grab a good meal!

Good good, good size portions, cheap prices and friendly service. Only complaint would be not a good place to go for lunch if you are on a set lunch hour. Took almost a hour to get the food

Crispy chicken tenders. LOVE there onion rings. So friendly.
