Great place! I went with a friend and since it was my first time going there, I wanted to try the Burmese noodles. It was delicious even though it was a bit spicy for me. Also, the miso soup is pretty tasty too. I definitely want to go back and try other items.
I read this somewhere ad HOPE it is true!!!!!! I wasn't there.... but I am reminded that we exemplify our best when take care of our neighbor. "So, my husband told our son, who has autism, to go inside and grab a take-out menu from Sun Restaurant. They even practiced it in the car beforehand. But then, my son went inside, and my husband waited…and waited…and waited. After a while, my husband decided to go check on him. What he found was that our son was sitting at a table, eating! Apparently, he had walked up to the hostess and said, “I’m hungry.” She then sat him down and asked him what he wanted to eat. He simply said, “beef.” The hostess quickly told the cooks, “Hurry, this boy is very hungry,” and they made him a beef curry with rice. She was so impressed by how sweet he was that sh
This is the first time I went to a Burmese restaurant, so we were wondering if the food would suit our palates. I'm happy to say we loved everything. The place was almost empty when we went, so the service was pretty quick though there was only 1 guy around. We had the vegetarian version of Tom Yum soup, dumplings, spring rolls, the Burmese flat noodles - the spring rolls were a little oily, but everything was very tasty. We also had the Mango rolls and the Garden avocado roll - though they come wrapped in a mango wrap, they aren't very sweet and they were delicious. Would recommend 💯
I love the food and friendly staff at Sun Cuisine. On my very busy days, I make sure to order the beef curry as it brings me such happiness. The food is great and the owner is so kind and genuine. I'm grateful to have such high quality Burmese food right in the heart of Williamsville!
I can’t believe it has taken me this long to find this gem of a restaurant. I had a takeout order yesterday with chicken shrimp noodles. lime and peanuts. It was absolutely awesome. The dining room is very warm and inviting and super clean. Chef and owner Kevin whom I met really knows what he is doing. Located on the heart of Williamsville- if you haven’t been there yet/ you’re missing out. I was so impressed that I’m taking a group of 6 there for dinner this weekend.
