Sumo Sushi and Steak

I door dashed 2 items and both were disappointments. Ordered Red Snapper sashimi and it came as a maki roll. The rice was sugary and snapper had strong fish smell. Also ordered Marilyn Monroe Roll and all I could taste was sweet from mango and overpowering spicy from tuna. Overall flavor was not appealing. Quality control needs to be supervised and hope they can get a better balance of flavors.

When I crave sushi in Saline County I order from Sumo of Bryant! They have several sushi rolls options, something for everyone! I love the Tokyo Drift Roll and Eric's Roll. They also have refreshing summer rolls wrapped in rice paper. The chicken yakatori is a great appetizer! I've always ordered takeout, but the location is cute and clean. Prices are as fair as the economy will allow these days. If you like sushi rolls and are near Bryant, AR then try this restaurant.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday and very happy with it! Cute place, food was good, staff was helpful and kind. Will definitely be back! We got hibachi plates with soup and salad, next time I'll be trying the sushi

So as far as pros, the waitress was super helpful and friendly. That’s why I didn’t give a one. But sadly that was really the only pro. Cons, the price for quality does not match. The onion soup and most of the food was not hot and felt like it was sitting too long. It’s super Americanized food and not remotely authentic. The vegetables on the hibachi tasted very grocery store quality. The onion soup was room temperature. The shrimp was tiny, and the sesame chicken had some sort of watered down sweet n sour sauce with some Sesame seeds thrown on top. Lastly, they brought my plate out about 10-15 minutes after my gf had hers at the table. All in all, I thank the waitress. She did an amazing job, but sadly the food couldn’t match. I probably wouldn’t come back again.
