Sumo Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

All the staff were very polite and helpful. Quality, cook and portions were great. Went during lunch with my mom and we each got the lunch shrimp and added scallops. We both ate our foll and still had enough leftover between us to make a substantial big meal for 1 with a snack later or adequate meal for 2. Both the shrimp and scallops were cooked perfectly, not rubbery from overlooking and nice sear outside.

I recently had the chicken yaki udon dish and it was pretty tasty. The service was excellent and my only complaint is their prices are a bit high given the portion sizes. I say this based on not only my dish but my dining companions' dishes as well.

Chloe's service was excellent; she made us feel at home. She answered my questions and recommended the YAKI SOBA (new to the menu) special and it had great flavor and was a generous portion (leftovers for lunch the next day). 😋 We dined in the dining room and found it relaxing and intimate. The jasmine tea was very good too. Husband's Hibachi chicken was cooked terrifically. Highly reccomend!

Wife and I were greeted by the host and sat at our booth. We waited for 10 minutes and no one came to our table to order our drinks or our food. There was literally only one other person in the dine in room. Normally do not get frustrated but I could hear a lot of the staff laughing and not focusing. Don’t see us going there anymore.

Took my wife out for mother's Day, she loves this type of food, I am not a big fan though. All I can say, I was truly amazed, and enjoyed it. Everything thing we had was amazing, taste was unbelievable and cooked to perfection. Brittney our server was amazing, very helpful and polite. Checked in more then once to ensure everything was good or if needed another drink. We will definitely stop here for dinner or lunch every time we are in this area.
