Great place, great food and Jay is very accommodating. "Our world famous Ruben" was spot on. Not dry, just the right amount of dressing and the bread had just the right of crisp. I highly recommend stopping in there if you're in the area. Very friendly customer service and down to earth personalities. I have also tried the bullet which was very good as well. Very pleased with them and the food.

I got the Captain Fred's masterpiece, I really enjoyed it. My group also got a couple Reuben sandwiches which I tried and I enjoyed that as well. The portions were not overly huge but average sandwich size. I enjoyed the macaroni salad my sandwich came with as well, if I'm in the neighborhood I would go back.

The sandwiches here are SO delicious! The owner Jay goes over and beyond for his customers! Can’t recommend this deli enough, you won’t be disappointed!

The owner and family are wonderful. I go to this place days in a row at a time the owner also makes hands down the best homemade chipotle mayo I’ve ever had in my life it’s delicious if you drink your coffee while waiting he tells you to top it off before you leave he also gave me a chicken cutlet to try the sauce with to make sure I liked it first. An owner who cares and goes out of his way for customer relations I recommend this place to anyone and everyone in west Islip and the surrounding areas!!! 5/5

I worked with Jay at Summerwind to cater a brunch for a Mother's Day event. He was extremely helpful, kind, and courteous. He walked me through everything I needed to know and was amazing to work with. The food was delicious and all our guests were very happy! Will definitely be using Summerwind again in the future!
