Really great place we visit every year. Great staff and really great flavors. Soft serve is very good as well and good portions. We try something new every year and haven't been disappointed
Nice small ice cream shop, lots of variety and all the flavors are fresh and tasty. Not a long wait, even if you think the line is super long. Staff is very friendly as well! They also have some vegan flavors which is cool.
Summer Sweets is the quintessential shore town ice cream shop. But, you’ll find more than just ice cream here. With candied apples, chocolate treats, and other goodies, there is something to satisfy any sweet tooth.
We recently visited Summer Sweets mid-week and were quite disappointed based on previous reviews. No set parking so made our own space! There weren’t a lot of people in line but the ordering and paying first was a little strange. Then the kid couldn’t make change. We ordered 2 waffle cones. What we got was a big melty mess on a cone and the other wouldn’t even stay in the cone and they immediately gave it to us in a cup because it was melting. Basically we got soup in a cone. We should have asked for a refund and left. We saw a man after us have the same issue. Half his cup slide onto the street. If you want hard ice cream, find another place. Update to owners response: The cone was not homemade. The hard ice cream was just really soft so that it instantly melted and it was not just us bu
In the past years small meant 2 scoops. Today my order of multiple "small" is one scoop of ice cream. My husbands sundae looked like a sampler sundae lol 😂 See attached. Time to find a new ice cream spot. Waste of $ beyond disappointed never again!
