Summer & Sage Coffee

Best coffee shop on the island hands down. The owner is the sweetest and they make all their own homemade syrups which makes every drink extra delicious. The banana bread is out of this world and every flavor I have tried so far has been delicious. I am a bit of a coffee snob and both the cold brew and the espresso are consistently smooth and never bitter. I love sitting at the bar with a coffee and reading the paper because everyone is so friendly and welcoming. A must visit spot!

Listen. I’ve visited plenty of coffee spots and I can say almost always the experience and quality of the products are pretty decent. But Summer & Sage is something different. The moment you walk in you just feel comfort. At least I did. The staff were welcoming and the latte and French toast muffin I had was out of this world. I only wish I had the option to toast and butter that bad boy. But hey that would make S&S perfect so I may be asking too much. I went back later in the day and tried a strawberry matcha. My first time trying matcha and it did not disappoint. Very fresh and refreshing. I don’t think I’ve been to a shop that makes their own syrups so to me that’s one of the many things that separates them from the rest. Ordered a dirty chai and it was pretty good! The physical menu in the store was just a chalkboard in the corner and it was pretty bare-bones. It would be nice if they got a larger chalkboard so they could expand a bit with either descriptions of the specials or list the prices. I know they just acquired the building this year so hopefully by next summer they’ll have ironed out some of the kinks.

Finally tried this amazing coffee spot! The owner was so nice immediately upon arrival. I had the banana bread iced latte & one matcha. When i tell you their homemade syrups are the best thing i’ve ever tasted in my life! I am not joking 😭 Will 1000% be back again! I’ve tried a few coffee spots on the island and this one is easily number 1!

My sister and I came here for the first time and it was AMAZING! I got an iced matcha latte with oat milk and blueberry syrup and she got their summer special iced cherry vanilla latte. They were absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The people working were so nice too!! I totally recommend coming here:)
