Customer Reviews
Great place! The shawarma is delicious — both beef and chicken are amazing. The space is cozy, clean, and bright, and the staff is very friendly. They even offer free black coffe and unlimited complimentary soup in the self-service area, which is such a nice bonus. Definitely coming back again!
Sumac Street is such a great spot. The food is incredibly flavorful and absolutely delicious! Everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully made. On top of that, they give you free lentil soup and coffee, which is such a nice touch and really shows how much they care about the experience. The staff is warm, attentive, and makes you feel genuinely welcome every time. I’ve been there twice in the last two weeks and got the chicken Shawarma sandwich which is a great price.
The chicken shawerma is the best you will find in CO. Hummus was amazing. The fries and falafel could be better but not too bad . It seemed they were understaffed as no one was in the dinning area but it is a new business and I think they have the potential to be outstanding. We will definitely come again. Update: we went back yesterday and I was pleased to see their fries are so much better. They have a system where you serve yourself which is fine with us it is an upgrade. The issue this time was the food was sooooo dry . The chicken shawerma was not like this last time. It was so dry and hard to swallow . The garlic sauce was not spread all over the sandwich and was just at the end. I would appreciate if they added garlic sauce on the side … The bread was way too much in comparison w
This place definitely has some of the best chicken shawarma in Denver. It was well seasoned and the spicy version was a lot better. The mozzarella sticks were nothing special, so next time I am passing on them. But the baklava was delicious. Took one star because of the wait time , they are new so I expected this. Hopefully it gets faster as they get used to things. When I went it was lunch rush.
⚠️‼️I honestly don’t recommend this place at all ⚠️ ⛔️ I ordered shawarma sandwiches at 5:27 PM, and they weren’t ready until around 5:50 PM — which is way too long for a simple shawarma order. When I finally got the sandwiches, the chicken pieces inside were large chunks, not sliced from the shawarma spit as they should be. The taste was terrible, and it definitely didn’t feel like real shawarma. Because of that, I couldn’t even finish the food and asked for a refund, which they did provide. Overall, the customer service was slow, and the quality of the food was extremely poor.
