"Sugar & Fire" Cuban Restaurant

My fiancé and I decided to try Sugar & Fire for a casual lunch, and we loved every second of it. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and inviting. We were greeted with genuine smiles by the staff and chose to sit outside. Before we even ordered, they brought out complimentary garlic butter bread with a side of rich butter for dipping. For our appetizer, we went with the chicken empanada, and wow—it was a golden, flaky pocket of perfection. The filling was tender, well-seasoned shredded chicken with just the right kick of spices, and it came with a house-made sauce. My main was the Steak & Onion Sandwich with a side of crispy French fries. This sandwich is a beast. First time here. I was expecting more enphasis on details. Rice was cold. I ask for tostones fresh. They was not fresh. The bread has a weird smell and flavor, was the worst of the wholle food. Ok, ropa vieja was good, biftec also was really good and the sweet plantains. I think for the price we paid they has to give more enphasis on the quality of the food.

We stopped here for lunch and everything was absolutely delicious — and reasonably priced, too! We tried the chicken empanada, Cuban sandwich, and steak sandwich. The empanada was perfectly hot and crispy, with a tasty tartar sauce on the side. Both sandwiches were generously sized, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The sweet plantains were the perfect finishing touch — warm, caramelized, and so good. Highly recommend!

Omg! So delicious! We tried first time Cuban food and got so surprised how good it is. The owner very friendly. We definitely need to support our small business like that. Also Cuban espresso is very good 👌.

This has got to be the best tasting food in Dalton! As soon as I took the first bite, I knew this was authentic. Yes, it's pricey but the flavor and portion sizes exceeded my expectations. I love this place! Definitely going back!
