Sugar and Spice Bakery & Cheese

These are THE best glazed donuts I’ve ever tasted. Better than the local shop back home, better than krispy crème. Well worth the drive. I called just 2.5 hours before pickup and they had 4 dozen ready to go for us. Though I think they prefer 24 hours notice for large orders like that. Grandma’s grumpy, I think I got more of the spice there, but ALL the sugar was in the donuts and that’s what I’m here for. HIGHLY recommend. I could drop more $ there if I could ship it back home or something. The ingredients are all real food, no crazy chemicals I could see on any labels. I’d be here every week if I lived near by.

The food is amazing from their cheeses to their fresh baked desserts. I try to stop by everytime I am in town. I wish they was open on Mondays.

Had only had excellent products in the past. Special ordered a sticky bun with nuts recently, and it was barely cooked enough to eat. The middle was literally raw dough. Very disappointed.

Country bakery has wide selection of well priced pies and other baked goods plus homemade candy on the rack with more available by custom order. Good selection of cheeses and sandwich meats as well, also reasonably priced. Wonderful service. Recommended.
