I pleaded with the employee to serve me fresh tuna, but he said it is fresh from “yesterday”. It is old, you can tell it is dry, it is not “eat fresh” aesthetic. The scoop’s handle was also touching the tuna. Employee was rude, and laughed at my complaint.
I’m gonna be honest I have rarely ever leave a review on a place especially if it’s bad but today was probably just my last straw with this subway I swear every other week this place is out of every single item and if their constantly having to wait on your truck” all the time then the GM needs to order extra because why is there a list always taped outside the door or on the glass saying basically every item and sometimes even having doors locked and only having one or two customers come in at a time. I never Place my order on the app prior to getting to the restaurant because of this and I shouldn’t have to do that. The owners of this location are a total joke! The staff are all awesome. All of the staff were Polite, funny, outgoing. Very friendly, but unfortunately they have to be way over apologetic due to the owner’s laziness. No cheese, no tuna, no meatballs, bread is horrible!! I got enough stale bread crumbs to make fried chicken tonight. I contributed my sandwich to the Statesville Landfill. The employees should just walk off and leave
Friday night at 7:30 , mind you they close at 9. They only have white & wheat bread. Okay that’s fine, I want a meatball sub - no meatballs. When it comes to toppings , only the lettuce is full, I asked for green peppers , they said uhhh I guess if you wait I have to cut them. Two teenagers in there, high as hell no care in the world, eating as they are serving us. What a disgrace. 0/10
I’ve stopped at this Subway location twice now, and both experiences were disappointing. The first time, I walked in to order, and the employee immediately told me they were out of chicken, ham, turkey, and only had white bread available. That left very few options, so I walked out. Honestly, I had forgotten about that experience and decided to give it another try while traveling. This time, I placed an online order in advance. When I arrived to pick it up, I was told they were out of ham—again. How does a sandwich shop constantly run out of basic meats like ham, turkey, and chicken? To make matters worse, items that were listed as available on the app—like beverages—weren’t even in stock at the store. If you don’t have them, don’t offer them online.
