Subway

Don’t use the App. They don’t honor most coupons and then refuse to properly prepare enough meatballs for the day so call and say they are out but have no idea how to refund an app order and then you must dispute through creditor. Total waste of time and you never have follow-up from manager. This has happened more than once. Not sure how complicated it is to heat up more meatballs mid day. These orders were not at closing time or near. I am still waiting on refund. A kid working in the store was making racial remarks about African American customer in front of my son before as well.. Kind of ridiculous.

I went in on Monday night on 8/18/25 and the only person working the food line was this girl with purple reddish hair . She was visibly upset that the girl with the black curly haired girl was not at all helping. I have seen these two a few times and it has been happening every. single .time . At this point the girl looks miserable working there. I have never once seen the other girl doing her job or even helping at most . She either sits there on her phone or goes to the back and talks to people over the phone . I hope management has a talk with her employees!!! It’s very pathetic on her part and her employees!!! Do better pine island subway .

Update: still sucks, service sucks and the quality of the food has went way down. Quantity & quality of the proteins is much less. Just can't get a decent at the Pine Island Subway anymore. Way below par. I ordered online 2 sandwiches; meatball marinara and a steak & cheese melt. Arrived 4-5 minutes after the app said it would be ready. Ok, It's like close to 100 degrees today but the sandwiches were luke warm. The steak sandwich only had slivers, and I mean 2 small slivers of onion, pepperchini etc. The wasn't enough meat to even taste it in the sandwich. Check the photo. Terrible sandwich, not even close to being worth the cost. We will not be buying there again.

My husband and I are on the road often and tend to stop at Subways for lunch. I can’t say I have the best experience at all of them but today 2/27/25 we stopped at the Subway in Pine Island and the lady working the morning shift around 10:45am was so sweet and made great sandwiches! Very pleased and would definitely come back.

Staff are not the most friendly. I dont trust the food prep and sanitary practices. I witnessed a pan bread of being dropped on the floor, a few bread loaves being through away, and then the whole pan being thrown back in the bread warmer.
